After a gestation period of 100 to 108 days, the tigress can give birth to up to 4 young, who during the first 10 days of their life will be blind and therefore completely dependent on their mother. Until the age of 2 months they will eat only the milk of the mother, after this age, the lioness will begin gradually bringing them prey. It is only after 32 weeks that they will begin to hunt.
